C. Beaton. 1997. Watched Ashley Jensen in the Acorn series about Agatha Raisin and was curious what went on in Cyprus that was alluded to in the tv series. Since they wanted all the series shot in the Cotswolds they skipped over the terrible tourist adventure. I liked the adventures that Sir Charles and Agatha got up to. A good listen with Penelope Keith as the narrator.
Carolyn Rectorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00553208940652253766noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433727496494501879.post-298996407956586372024-01-28T13:05:00.001-05:002024-01-31T13:39:43.291-05:00Agatha Raisin and the Murderous Marriage
By M. A fictionalized retelling of the Florida murders by Ted Bundy in 1978 from the viewpoint of the President of the sorority house. I read it in three days. Quite compelling. I lived on campus from 1970 to 1975 in Ohio, so I could relate to the time. The book highlights two different viewpoints, one from the sorority and one from Washington state, this time the viewpoint of a murder victim. I am glad I read it but it is very disturbing.
Carolyn Rectorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00553208940652253766noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433727496494501879.post-71404231077040333822024-01-19T14:59:00.004-05:002024-01-19T14:59:32.644-05:00Her Royal Spyness
By Rhys Bowen. 2007
Carolyn Rectorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00553208940652253766noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433727496494501879.post-32640582829697520812024-01-11T09:28:00.001-05:002024-01-11T09:28:58.313-05:00It's a Dog's Life, Snoopy
By Charles M.
